Hi, I'm Dr. Rachel Marks.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who practices in Century City, California. I work with individual adolescents and adults, couples, and parents throughout Los Angeles.
I earned my Doctorate Degree from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2006 and was a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California in 2008. I spent 12 years working in public agencies providing direct services, clinical and administrative supervision, and program planning and development prior to opening my full time private practice.
Along the way, I also earned my PPS Credential in K-12 School Counseling so I could better understand the school counseling field and the interplay with mental health professionals. While earning this credential, I provided guidance to students in the Beverly Hills School District on the academic, social, and emotional challenges they were facing.
I worked as a Program Director for a multi-site, Mental Health Wellness and Employment Services Program, creating and designing innovative therapeutic programs and groups that led to helping clients finding meaningful roles in their lives and living more fully with purpose. In addition, I created and supervised the LGBT Center at Airport Marina Counseling Service where I oversaw training and treatment for MFT trainees.
